How can you see a snowman with a big smile like this and not have it make you smile in return? This snowman is in a fairly public area and I have noticed that when people see this snowman, it brings a smile to their face. Even though this snowman will disappear after a warm, sunny day, the memory of it will linger long for those who saw it, and especially the hands that created it. A snowman smiles. I for one, am glad of that. (Who ever heard of a snowman with a frown?)
I’ve been neglecting my blog but I’m going to start again, in this snowman season, and build it again, because I hope that some of what I write will bring a smile to someone’s face or that I can be an encouragement to someone to take a step toward their dream. It’s a good time to start as it’s a season for smiling, the start of a new year.
It’s a time of beginning again. Funny thing about that snowman. I noticed that one day after rain the head had melted and was gone. But the next day, after new snow, the head was back. It was newly formed, placed on top of the old snowman parts, but it was there, smiling at everyone who passed by again. That’s how I want this new beginning of my blog to be, built upon what is already here.
Thank you to those of you who have been my encouragement. It’s important to encourage one another in this life. In fact, it’s kind of like the making of the snowman in the picture. I watched as it was built by brothers and sisters and I heard the laughter in the air as they struggled to lift the big ball of snow to form the middle. This was no easy task. But they persevered together and the end result was a giant snowman with a big smile. I hope that I can do likewise, by encouraging all of you, even if it is no more than bringing a smile to your face.
I love seeing the snowman by the town office seeing the kids outside building it for all to enjoy .
Yes, it was nice to see kids enjoying being outside.
Thank you for brightening my day! Good to have you back sharing your special take on life. I love snowmen, too:)
